How to be a Successful Landscaping Architect?

Entry: To become a successful Landscaping Architect, one needs to first pursue a course on Landscaping. This course could be a diploma course or a degree course. The last year in the degree course is usually a practical training also called as apprenticeship. The degree or diploma course in landscaping architecture can be usually pursued after 12 years of formal schooling. This can also be pursued as a second degree after the first degree in any subject related to landscaping architecture.
This course should be recognized by a authorized accredited body.
Career Development: There are two ways for a person to make his career.
One way is to join any private company as a trainee under the supervision of an experienced and licensed landscaping architect. The training period may extend for 2years which is also called the duration of professional practice. One has to keep a formal record of all the work that is done by him or her during this duration. After this the candidate has to take the licentiate exam that consists of written papers as well as oral presentation. The rules to continue as the member of the license issuing body vary from country to country.
The other way is to do the government job where the job profile is clear, the career path is structured right from the supervisory level through the managerial level.
Usually at the pinnacle of the career a successful landscaping architect prefers to join a partnership firm as a partner or start his own firm.
Personal Attitude: If a person want to build a career in landscaping architecture and become a successful landscaping architect then he/she should be a good team player, creative minded, optimistic, confident and the skills for communication should be excellent. He should be caring for the nature especially flora and fauna.
Salary: The salary of landscaping architects range between pounds 16,000 to pounds 21,000 while for the experience it ranges from pounds 25,000 to pounds 40,000
Future: As the construction industry is booming so will the demand for landscaping architects. The demand of this profession is continuously on the rise.
