Specifically using envelope printing for marketing means that you have some message or connection to your company on the front of the envelopes. If every letter you send to people has your company name and logo on it you can be sure that over time they’ll be more and more likely to remember it. Added to this is the inexpensive cost of having the envelopes printed, which means that you aren’t losing much of anything by getting them done, and you gain the benefit of always having your company name right there on the outside of your letters. For direct mailing pushes the benefits come from the fact that people will be more likely to open your letter if they already have an idea of what they’re going to find inside. You’re giving them a sneak peak at what your letter contains. Plus, it adds additional images and color to the outside of the envelope. This helps your letter to stand out in the pile of mail. After all, they have to notice your envelope and have interest in it before they’ll even consider opening it. If you consider your envelope to be just as much a part of your marketing push as whatever your primary message is than you can be certain that you’ll get a lot more people taking notice in your advertising.
