When you're taking off a wall, for example, your costs should be based on either per linear foot or per square foot of wall. In calculating the costs for building a wall, consider that each linear foot will require one hour of labor and $12 worth of materials.fifty every linear foot. The actual costs will be far closer to this estimate than to our first estimate. Upon learning, you adjust estimates to ensure you don't make the same mistake again. You need to constantly keep on top of your expenses using this system. If you think about it, it's like driving a car or truck. You need to understand how it works before trying to drive the vehicle. As you go along you continue to adjust your direction. If you won't do this, you'll end up running into something and hurting yourself. In estimating, this is also true. You'll have to adapt your plan or deal with roadblocks later... and this may cause some pain!
